Smart Technology and Blackout Protection
Each system includes intelligent software for real-time monitoring and remote management through RedEarth’s EMU app. This technology optimises energy storage and usage patterns automatically, while giving users complete visibility into their energy consumption. The systems can seamlessly switch between grid power and stored energy based on demand and availability.
During blackouts, RedEarth systems provide emergency power supply (EPS) functionality, automatically switching to battery power to keep essential loads running. Non-essential loads are temporarily disconnected to maximise battery runtime, with full power restoration once grid supply returns.
How Energy Storage Works
Energy storage systems capture excess solar power generated during peak production periods and store it for later use. This stored energy becomes available during high-demand times like early morning and evening, or when solar production is low. The result is consistent access to clean energy regardless of weather conditions or time of day.
