I have had a life/financial changing experience we went from running the diesel generator for long periods of time at stupidly high costs as we have a small mining camp that is more utilised as a family living camp on weekends that we turned off when it just cost more to have power then we could afford. So now we have had off grid solar for a couple of months now, my costs are nil daily output and when we done the math it will pay for itself in one year with the incredible warranty and after sale support from Proven Energy & RedEarth Energy Storage Ltd after which it will be costing me nothing for min 20 years by our research by buying 2026 technology. I apologise for long review but only second one I have done in sixty years as a review to me is like a reference for someone for a job it is important to give accurate and honest information to all interested parties (it’s the right thing to do hence why I don’t do many). If I can’t hand on heart say it, I don’t say it).

Choosing someone to install solar for your home is a daunting task. There is so much information out there and I’ll be honest, I found it all quite confusing.
The team at Proven Energy answered all of my questions (some of which I’m sure were quite silly!) in a way which I was able to understand. Common questions
How much does a solar or battery system cost?
There isn’t one standard price because every property and system is different. The right setup depends on your power use, roof, switchboard, existing solar and what you want the system to do. A recent bill gives us a good starting point, then we’ll work out what actually suits your property.
What size solar system do I need?
It depends on how much power you use, when you use it, your available roof space and whether you’re planning to add things like a battery, EV charger, or extra electrical loads later. We size the system around the property rather than starting with a standard package.
Do I need a battery, and can one be added to my existing solar?
Not everyone needs a battery. It depends on when you use power, your tariffs, whether backup matters to you and what you already have installed. In many cases a battery can be added to an existing solar system, but we’ll need to check the current equipment and setup first.
What happens after installation?
We service the systems we install and provide local support if something needs attention later. Because we work with a smaller range of equipment we know well, we also know where to go when manufacturer or warranty support is needed.
